Alright.
So we've got these fancy Bodum Double Wall Glasses, Pavina 2 pcs, 450ml – sounds like a secret code, but it's just for drinking stuff. Now, they're banging on about this innovative double wall thing – like it's the Fort Knox of cups. Supposedly, it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. I mean, I just want my tea to stay warm, not join a temperature control support group.
Made of mouth-blown, heat-resistant borosilicate glass – mouth-blown, really? Are there glass-blowing experts carefully crafting each cup? It's like they're turning a simple glass into a work of art and get this, there's a hydrophobic silicone vent – sounds like a space-age contraption. Apparently, it equalizes the air pressure between the layers of glass. I just want to drink my coffee, not pilot a spaceship.
They say these things are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe – up to 350ºF/176ºC. Are people baking their cups now? I just want to drink, not turn my kitchen into a science experiment.
In summary, if you're into cups that can handle the hot and the cold, and you're okay with feeling like you're sipping from a piece of art with a built-in spaceship vent, these Bodum Pavina things might be for you. As for me, I just need a cup that holds my drink without making it a production.
As well as a clippable mat.
Brilliant OP, and a good deal and no more condensation mess for cold drinks I assume?
