but the 1 star reviews aren’t that great

Ummm… The 1 star reviews are never going to be great. That's why they're 1 stars, no?

Meanwhile there's over 500 reviews for this and the average is 4.6 stars. By Bunnings review standards that's great!

  • I procrastinated over the $74.50 deal last year when some Bosch pressure washers were also on sale and in the end missed out on all of them. Still a good deal at this price, and no I don't have a $99 generic brand pressure washer that is still going strong.

    • Same, waiting for someone that bought this last year to comment if it’s good or not

Good for washing out your Stanley Cup?

  • Good for washing cars? Or will it need some attachment or accessories etc?

    • Fine for washing cars, there’s a vid on the page you can watch

I had a similar one from few years ago, the hose was worn out, couldn't find any that fits from the same or other brands like bosch, bunning brands… so i called stanley, they directed me to a franchisee that stamps their brand on their generic pressure washers. Being a general trading company, sorry forgot the name, they advised that the model is outdated and have no spare sparts.

Conclusion… id stay away from such washer, i bought a $99 2150psi from bunnings and much happier than this one that is very weak too.
    My 2 cents

    • Bought one see how it goes, assume yours was a lower psi

      • Yep you're right, it was 1450psi. I guess 1885 will make a difference.

FYI: PSI measurements for pressure washers aren't consistent between brands. General advice is to use flow rate (litres per minute) as a better measure of pressure washer power. The 1450PSI one you've got probably has a 5L/min, whereas both the $99 Ozito and the $104 Stanley have 7L/min, so there'd be a bit of a difference, but not huge.

I'm looking for an upgrade as well from my Gerni which has a flow rate of 7.7L/min, but I think I'll have to go petrol to get a meaningful increase :/

They ozito is overwhelmingly great reviews

  • great deal, now i just need a matching cup

  • 2200W Ferrex from 3 years ago is still surprisingly going strong - $149

  • Will this Stanley be Ok for washing cars?
My Gerni started leaking oil last time I used it.

Anyone considering buying it, just gave it a test for $104 giving it a big 👍, more powerful then expected & wasn’t expecting it to clean concrete that well, but doing it with no issue, good buy for the price
