Cyberpunk 2077, I don’t think this game needs further introductions. Slightly more expensive compared to recently expired deals, but if you’re after the Ultimate edition with the Phantom Liberty edition, look no further.

    Need a steam deal reeeee

    • +1

      Same, still waiting.

Humbly disagree, just get GOG version, you can install it anywhere, there’s no DRM.

      • For this GOG version, do you need to install any GOG software to run this game? Like Steam or Epic Games.

        • +1

It should have its own packaged installer that you can install as a separate program on Windows (or Linux, if you know how to get that working). So no, it’s completely independent and devoid of any DRM, only having the launcher for the one game itself that doesn’t need any accounts, internet or other verification.

  • This game got a lot of positive hype.

Did it stand up to it?

Whilst the critic’s review is generally positive, particularly the PC release compared to consoles.

      User reviews however are mixed.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Writing this review after the game has crashed for the 1,000th time. You know you've got a real problem when a "good gaming session" is when you only get 3 crashes an hour. This game has such an interesting world and story that's absolutely ruined by the technical mess that is everything else. Cars drive horribly, AI acts horribly, random bugs everywhere, and then of course god help you if you don't want to spend twice as long on the game because you have to replay so much of it due to crashing.

At the end of the day, just buy it if it’s cheap enough for you and make a call. Analysis paralysis will seep in if you think too much. Life is too short. Unless you’re living paycheck to paycheck, might be worth taking a punk (punt) 😈

At release no, now with a bunch of updates and the DLC, it's a much better game and worth playing now.

      • +1

Cheaper now too and you get more for less.

I enjoyed the game at release, I only encountered 2 bugs my playthrough and they weren't game breaking. Some broken AI but nothing more then what's in other games. The broken AI was unironically better than Starfield AI. I played on PC though, you'll find the majority of complaints will come from old Gen consoles users or peoples who's PC can't handle it.

Game is way better now and one of the few games I can replay due to the incredible performances of the voice actors and graphic fidelity making this the most immersive game I've ever played.

    • It has definite flaws but it’s also a huge game with a lot of good stuff in it, and a lot of things improved since launch. Whether the flaws ruin it for you or are hardly noticeable will depend on your priorities/expectations, and whether the story and setting grab you will depend upon your tastes. There are people who consider it their favourite game of all time.

    • At the beginning, no. It massively underperformed expectations, however it has made a huge combat with updates massively improving the game including with the Phantom Liberty expansion pack

You're supporting credit card theft by buying from sites like this. If the site isn't listed on ITAD then don't buy from there is a good rule of thumb

    • How is buying from CDKeys supporting credit card theft?

There has been 816 deals posted on OzBargain relating to CDKeys.com?

      • The business model is that criminals purchase lists of stolen credit card numbers and then use fake accounts to purchase games keys from Steam for popular games. The keys are then sold to the market places at a huge discount. When the credit card company does a chargeback, Steam has to refund the money so the game's creator does not get any money. However, Steam does not revoke the keys that were part of the illegitimate transaction so the purchasers from the key site still get their game.

There has been 816 deals posted on OzBargain relating to CDKeys.com?

That is no proof of legitimacy. How do OzBargainers know what's going on in a company that's based in the United Arab Emirates?

    • You're factually incorrect. CDkeys is not black market, they're grey market. CDkeys games are legitimate and are not involved in any theft like generic black market G2A etc.

    • +1

That's what the game publishers would like you to believe. So they can get away with charging a regional price hike.

  • I'll wait for the game to be $10 for it to be worth it.

    • +1

Or released on EpicGames for free!

        Still no.
