Asking for a friend, is this good enough for OF streaming? ;p
This is a $30 webcam with marketing hype behind it, don't waste your money, especially given where phones are headed in terms of PC connectivity (Android 14 should offer full compatibility before November).
Either spend up to the $100+ range or get an app to wirelessly send video from your phone.
Apple ecosystem users need not apply at all: you already have Continuity Camera.

Haven't looked into it a great deal, but they'll all be pointless on Android 14/15 phones in 9 months, tops.
If you use it long term your phone battery will likely become spicy pillow
These phones have circuitry that turns down the voltage and current to base levels, some can even bypass it entirely.
I know Samsung have had bypass as a feature since at least their 2021 lineup.
If you have a pixel , it becomes a webcam if you have a suitable stand for it.
Take a look at youtube reviews on this cam, not that good.

Using these at work. Work well. There is a bit of adjustability with the camera arc, and also the stand's overall angle. The stand is really just an angle that rests on the back of the monitor. Use it without the intrusive razer software. If you buy and it flickers, change the hz setting to 50hz
