I was looking for a small portable AC for my gaming room/Man Cave and I came across this.
Seems to be Cheaper than Kogan which has it advertised for $283.
$10 off for first time Woolworths Marketplace customers with code.

Assuming it is actually a 2kw air conditioner. It should be fine for a standard bedroom.
these are itshay because they suck in all the cooled air and throw it outside with the hot air
Not sure why you're getting negged as this has been proven time and time again. Only those which have two hoses (one to bring in outside air and then the other to expel it) actually cool the air in the room.
Don't take my word for it, here's a video from technology connections covering this
plus theyre loud af
I have inverted mine. Placed the aircon outside undercover and made an adapter so the hose goes on the front and blows cold air into the house, creating over pressure and in theory pushing warm air out (or at least not the other way around and drawing outside air into the house). Much more efficient and also no noise.
You want to circulate the air to increase the efficiency, that's what I did. 2 hoses.

Seems cheap, but there is no product information supplied by woolworths on that page.
Specs and what's included, it's all a mystery.

Stupid old eyes!
Uses propane as refrigerant gas. From previous research anything that uses butane is the cheapest quality, not to say it won't work, but it's cheap. When I was looking at dehumidifiers I noticed the same unit at Kmart using normal refrigerant plus a cheap crap no name version on Amazon/Ebay that used propane
I hope your cave is a small one - about the size of a small caravan is what this will handle in reality.
Noise level is 65db which is quite high. This is equivalent of a hair dryer on a low settings.
I was looking for a small portable AC
That was the first mistake.
Why
- If I don't login to woolworths, it is fine, displaying the item.
- If I login, it displays the ac unit and in one second auto refreshes the webpage and shows error 404?
I have owned 3 portable air conditioners before. This unit is too weak, you'll need something with at least 12000BTU for cooling small-medium size room during summer. Otherwise you'll just end up with a noisy fan in your room.
If this is similar to the Aldi 2kW Portable AC which is similar sized to this one, I would avoid it. I had one and it performed terribly.
Would avoid "Mills Brands" products - they have a track record of being poor quality with many complaints. (AKA "David Mills" 'AGR machinery")
See this ten year long thread about them on whirlpool.
this wont even cool a closet
