What's bad about the design?
fiddly if you have butter finger like myself
for me, gets real hot fast & the USB-C often closes as you are pushing into the MBP, but it's good for quick print runs because most of the retailers still only have USB-A ports
I had one a few years ago and the sliding mechanism broke, before that though it would often retract when you go to insert it into the port.
I really like mine, have no issues at all with it
Same, had it for one and a half year.
Strongly avoid this awful USB - I originally purchased for flexibility of USB type, but its caused more headaches than I need from a USB stick.
There is a common fault which results in the device becoming permanently stuck as "Write Protected". I was able to use Diskpart to fix it the first time, but second time around I raised an RMA, and its taken 3 weeks for them to tell me they are sending me a pre-paid con-note, but I need to supply my own box, so I can ship it back to their building for investigation and once completed, they will send me back a replacement.
So I guess I will get a replacement in March?
Plenty of examples on the Sandisk forums - Save yourself the headache
to avoid sandisk write-protect software just format it before use
i dumped 1 stick 8$ but got a replacement for 25$ one after realizing this
ever since i format every sticks from all brands to delete software (cannot delete software themselves)
I prefer to pay a little extra ($23.70) for SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C Flash Drive, 128 GB as I think it has a better design.
A warehouse update there are 15
bought 1 for under $19 2 weeks ago
