I agree; I hate setting day/date on autos, but at least this is a quartz
One thing I love about the land tortoise is the barely noticeable date in the 4:30 position. I don't even bother to set it.
Yeah that doesn't look too bad, probably prefer at 6, 3 or 4 with a smaller marker. A lot of the date wheela text is so small that it would be better if they didn't bother.

Ps. $249 at Shiels makes it the same price with $60 off $250 vip voucher 😜. Don't Think many people will be shopping there when watch depot cheaper anyway. The only benefit is can drop in and inspect the alignment of watches.

Very different prices though, online vs bricks and mortar. Just saying there are occasions where the VIP vouchers make it cheaper that other places, but the prices are jacked up these days.
Nice, slim profile, will slide under a cuff with ease. I see there's a very similar Titanium SUR377 at just over twice the price for $399, and for the Ladies there's a similar one to those posted by Speckled Jim in a two-tone gold, the SUR636P, which is only a tenner more at $199.
