Someone bought me a box of Fancy Feast. Been feeding cat Aldi canned food, the red and purple cans only, and he gulps that shit down even if it's been sitting in the feeder for 18 hours (frozen serve with ice packs on it, but really I forget to change the ice packs and often it's been sitting warm). Gave him a Fancy Feast and he wouldn't touch it at all, chose to skip one of his 6 hour meals rather than eat it. Which is unheard of. So what am I going to do with all these Fancy Feasts?

My cat is very fuzzy, too.
Whenever I buy food that he won't eat, I just donate it to a local pantry. They would take human and pet food for people who are struggling to buy.
However, my cat's problem is that he won't eat cheap food.

Mix the food together so it starts with maybe 25% fancy feast, decrease the overall quantity of food.

They usually have a specific ingredient they like to eat. For my cats, its chicken and usually they would eat most variants of chicken regardless of brand as long as its the same ingredient. ie. chicken and/or chicken meal. But if I give them "meats" or "poultry meat", they likely wont eat it.
The red Aldi cans are beef and the purple is chicken. I have to get on my knees and sort through all the Aldi cans because cat won't eat anything with fish scales in it, or he will but he'll drag it around the floor to pick out the scales. The Fancy Feast I got is beef and chicken.
A fussy cat is a hungry cat. Just leave it there, what's he going to do? Not eat it and starve to death?

I cat sit this cat often. she is the increadible eating machine. and yet she is so small.
chicken neck, chicken livers and hearts, whiskers, fussy cat….wolfs them down.Fancy feast. sniffs and walks away.
You could make some fried rice with it, add some eggs and vegetables as it lacks the nutrients we need….or you could do something crazy and give it to a friend or neighbour.
