  • Thanks was looking for one

Gotta tighten the belt on those impulse buys
    Thanks OP

    • The length would not even allow me to tighten the belt.

      • +2

Couldn’t work out the size myself 🤷🏽‍♂️

        • +1

          120cm, 47inches approx

      • +1

You can cut it to size and add extra holes with a leather punch tool. Easy enough.

  • Thanks!

  • Looks nice! Good find OP :)

  • Nice find. Got one.

    • Grabbed that cleaner version last night. 😅

      • Make sense, what OP posted looks dirtier… :p

  • What is the return policy?
Not sure about the length for this belt

    • I was thinking the same especially as I'm only a size 30

  • +2

    One size fits all 🤣

    Dimensions (approx. cm): 120 x 3 (L x W)

  • How is this a deal? This is not a 2 pack, just reversible and you can get one for half that price

    • I think these are real leather. Can you get real leather ones for half price?

      • +6

It's "genuine leather" which is the lowest grade of "real' leather, and, in my experience, wears pretty badly as a belt.

        • Bonded leather is made from real leather, I guess.

        • Do you know what a typical good price is for decent leather belts and recommend somewhere to buy them? My belts always deteriorate much faster than what a proper leather belt should.

          • +1

@Dan83: I have a couple of these "smart belts" from Harmattan Design that I got off Kickstarter nearly seven years ago and they have worn EXTRMELY well. Weirdly they only ever seem to be available on Kickstarter/Indigogo - see https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/smart-belt--7#/

I paid about $70AUD each for them back in 2017, but they look to be closer to $100 now. I would happily pay that.

Leather aside, the ratcheting mechanism is such an upgrade over a traditional buckle.

    • half price? link pls
btw It's a deal because it's a fraction of RRP and for 30 bucks you have a branded belt

      • Fraction of the RRP doesn't mean its a deal if you can get it cheaper usually or half price when an actual deal comes by. I got my last Tommy Hilfiger for $15 from Kogan and even recently saw this on Catch for $21

This is a large sized belt and would fit someone with a 40 inch plus waiste.

    • +2

Can we remove the buckle and cut the belt to the preferred length?

      • +7

You can, it comes with 2 removable buckles and you can cut it easily

        • did you see the scissors he has? if you don't have a scissors like that yours will come out like shit

          • +2

@Roe Jogan: He's doing it with scissors like that because it looks stupid in a quick video if you're sawing at the belt for more than a second with children's craft scissors. I've cut plenty of belts with kitchen scissors and it really doesn't have to be that neat either because it will be hidden by the metal sheath. It takes longer but it looks fine in the end.

          • @Roe Jogan: Man I've done that many time it's super easy and as in this video he said at the end as simple as that because it's just a cut ✂️

    • I just bought a size 28-30 belt from Connor the other day and it's exactly 120cm long like this one…?

  • so much hilfiger, lad they call me tommy

  • +4

Looks like it needs to be cut to fit smaller sizes, right?

  • +1

yea i got this as impulse buy without realising it may not fit me and also dont like flasing tommy logo on the belt clip! damn now have to pay for return. Ive to stop logging in here lol

    • +3

As it, it's too big? You can cut them to size, and use one of the buckles without the logo.

  • Is it reconstituted leather ore one piece?

  • +3

I thought Tommy was eshay gear, cheap/poor quality brand now. But we're digging this belt?

    • +9

Can't hurt to have a spare fresh belt for your next trip to the Magistrate's.

    • Some eshay’s tried to hijack the brand but the quality of their stuff is still pretty good. Yacht jacket and polo shirt have held up well.

  • -2

this belt is for fatties. too big, you cant just cut it its got stiches, basically you would ruin its premium look and feel

    • You can cut it from the side with the buckle. It's designed to be cut. Someone posted a YouTube video above.

      • -1

ive tried that before and it looks like shit after cutting, trust me the bonded material thats been pressed starts to open up

        • Cheers

        • You should be able to re-seal that. I reckon a cobbler’s store could do that for you.

  • +3

This will be made from bonded leather and the top layers on both sides will start to peel off within 12 mths

  • +1

    order just cancelled?

  • +5

I’ve had a Ben Sherman one that was “genuine leather” and it peeled terribly. Anyone got a lead on a belt that is legit leather that is fairly priced?

  • Thanks! Was looking for a good belt. Ordered both styles.

  • +1

these are absolute crap quality, even at this sale price it doesn't look like much of a deal.

    • It's for gifting

      • +1

If I was gifting a belt I would go to the markets and get a proper 1 piece leather belt that is made with quality leather and won't need to pay much more than this.

  • terrible quality.

  • +2

    Thanks got one.
Good for everyday work to hold up some chinos

  • +1

Thanks OP. This is great. I signed up for OnePass free trial and ordered the belt. Very good deal.

    • +1

I did the same thing. Thanks OP

  • +1

Thanks mate need a better one than the one I currently have for interviews and formal things

    • mine got flagged and cancelled did this happen with anyone else?

  • -3

Does the sexond buckle require a hoe i prefer ones dthat dont require rehoeinh year after year

  • "one size fits all"

mine just rocked up, size 42 and miles too big for me. might see if a return is possible.

    • Try cutting it ?

    • +1

Can try to cut it down to your length.

    • it does fit all, you just have to cut it - it's pretty simple
