Many old famous brand names have been bought by China manufacturers to con us in to thinking they are good.
Phillips,Akai etc etc.
Philips is still 100% Dutch owned.
Not even close. The company is split into hundreds if not thousands of share owners. The Italian Agnelli family alone own 15% of the company.
Hillhouse Capital (East Asian) owns their domestic appliance division. This fan is a rebadged Chinese model riding on the Philips name brand.
Heaters on sale if anyone wants to buy one for next winter. Was $175 during winter and now $91 😃
