Unable to Use Coles $200 Celebration Giftcard @ Officeworks Online

So here I am trying to buy some stuff at a cart for exactly $100 at Officeworks' website using the payment method of a Coles Celebration Gift Card I bought in the October 2023 15% Off Coles Sale however I was unable to complete my payment.

Could someone confirm if payment can only be done instore with this giftcard? Or I have to phone them to use this card? I'm not sure how to fix it.

Getting the issue of: There was an error processing your order. Please try again or try a different payment method. when paying at online checkout.

Thanks! Hoping to hear what y'all's experiences are with the online store of Officeworks.

    Online shopping: Celebration Gift Cards can be used online. Enter the card information in the credit/debit card section and please ensure the current balance of the Ultimate Gift Card is enough for the entire purchase as most online merchants cannot accept the combination of an Ultimate Gift Card and a Credit Card.

    If you have entered the card info right, the possible answer is:

    Card issuer Blackhawk makes the card usable @ Officeworks as advertised, but Officeworks doesn't accept any prepaid VISA cards online.

    Similar to the situation that Shopback Supermarket Activ VISA can not be used @ Coles online.

    Most likely Officeworks doesn't accept these cards online. Have you confirm the balance?

    You could try to exchange it for a Officework evoucher? Not sure if they do that exhange, don't have any cards to test with https://exchangecelebration.com.au/

    If not, head instore and spend it.

    Did you put 12/29 for the expiry date and are you trying to buy a gift card or SIM card with it?

      Yes, I have put 12/29 for the expiry date. I am not trying to buy a Giftcard or SIM Card.

    Having the same problem with online Ultimate Student Gift card with balance $150 the exact value of purchase at checkout via the visa card option. Not purchasing a gift card. Have tried a bunch of expiry dates. Check out returns the same error

    I think they may have changed their policy and no longer accepting these cards. Faced same issue in December.

    I just used the balance of mine.
    I got it December 2022.
    Used at BBQ Galore shortly after instore.
    Thn just used the remaining balance last week at Officeworks instore.
    My card doesnt have the Officeworks logo on it, but i remember @WookieMonster confirmed it worked there (and which i confirmed 14 months later when I used the rest of it).

    OP, did you manage to get the card working in store? I am faced with exact same issue as well.

      Hey, a bit of a late reply. Just managed to see this today.

      The card worked instore, the workers told me that the online blocks these cards as there have been attempts to buy other giftcards online using this prepaid card.
      So as of now, these cards for Officeworks can only be used in-store.
