Proton VPN Plus Subscription - 30 Months US$119 (~A$175) @ ProtonVPN

120
EOY2023

Not sure if it's available to everyone but I see that it applies a code of EOY2023 when I checkout so try using the code when you checkout.
I see the promo when I log in to protonVPN.

I missed the last one and since I run out in Feb, managed to get the new year offer.

I mean there are reasons people might wanna go with Proton rather then Nord

Also my experience with shopback has been terrible, I wouldn't have any faith in them honouring the cashback. Amount of times I've been perfectly tracked just to have them turn around and claim the merchant didn't respond

      • What are the reasons?

        • Didn't spend a heap of time looking but one huge reason would be port forwarding. Also 10 vs 6 simultaneous connections.

          Crickets

People downvote when I post better deals that pop up on a regular basis and some how they think paying $175 is better value for them.

As for it not tracking, just make sure you use Google Incognito with cookies enabled or use the cashback app. Never had an issue tracking following those rules.

        • Well protonmail I believe it's one of the few that do things properly. VPN presumably the same. Often there are logs for debugging etc even on "no log" services, proton do better in this space

    • Tried proton and had issues with iPad Pro and iPhone 15pro speeds being majorly affected.

Got a refund (cs was pretty aggressive about it i felt) and went Nord

You actually paid money for a VPN?! Learn to Windscribe.

LOL last time I checked they didn't include Aussie servers for their free accounts.

        • I guess there are reasons people might wanna go with Nord rather then Windscribe.

  • I'm glad I signed up with them many years ago. Still only paying about $70 a year for the top plan. Anyone else pay the same as when they first signed up?

Awesome, got Proton Unlimited for 12 months. Thanks!

  • IDK what the normal price is and how good the deal is.. but imo the product is good!

  • Can anyone who has this subscription share why it's better than nord or surfshark

    • There isn't anything overly special about Proton VPN from what I can tell.

      ProtonVPN allows port forwarding.

Using for about 6 years. There is a general "belief" that the service is more secure than others. I.e no back door vpn exploitation by state agencies.
Proton was founded by a group of CERN scientists if that carries any importance?

  • I'm looking to share a family plan, if anyone's interested.
