    Is there much of a difference between a ball like this and the sort of mid-range balls that go on sale for around $50-60?

      Can only descibe match balls having a more responsive feel, when you ping a pass, it feels crisp, its doesnt have that thick padding.

        League balls when inflated to the specified psi they turn into rocks
        Match balls feels softer but are not flat

          This is a good description and might explain why I've always felt like some balls are nice for headers and others literally hurt
