  • how wide? is it 6E?

    • does not say about the actual wide size but it is in top ten wide basketball shoes according to this web article https://weartesters.com/best-basketball-shoes-for-wide-feet/

      • I bought these as they were well reviewed for wide feet and a decent toe box. I bought TTS (us11) and it fits really well. My only problem is that i have high arches but i address that with some lacing technique to ease the pressure.

Im thinking of getting another pair but also am waiting to try on some NB TWO WXY v4/5

    • it is 1 size bigger

  • Are bball shoes good for walking and running in? I have plantar fasciitis and read somewhere that bball shoes tend to have higher heel elevation… so not as good as say running or walking shoes.

    Thoughts?

    • Depends on the shoe, would say ok for walking in, but I wouldn't recommend running outside heavily in them. The cushioning is made for wooden floors, not concrete/asphalt

      • What about the whole sole elevation thing?

Im not a sport scientist of any way, I just remember that Paul Fabritz talked about it in his podcast. He argued that basketball shoes usually have a significant heel-to-toe drop which can cause your Achilles to shorten over time if you wear them excessive. Also, as you mentioned in your edit, it can cause to harm your foot muscles. Since basketball shoes are very cushioned nowadays, it can lead to weakened foot muscles since they’re not needed anymore.

My foot hurts so bad every time I get out of bed that Iimp for half a minute before I can walk alright again.

Apologies for going off topic on this deal. Just curious to see what people think. I just happen to like the look of bball shoes, but I don't think I should get any just because my feet are suffering.
