I got this Handheld for Christmas. I was first looking at the Anbernic RG35XX, but went for this as its a bit more powerful. It's less "pocketable", but I play around the house more than anything. It's user preference I guess.

With the latest JelOs installed, I've played systems up to and including Psx, also played N64 (Zelda and Mario 64) and dreamcast games as well with no major problems. Next step I am aiming to do is get Bluetooth controllers paired and using it as a console by plugging it into the TV via HDMI.
I've not found the buttons to be that loud or clicky for me. There are modifications you can do to fix that if you are interested (fill the L2 and R2 triggers with glue).
