I've got a well-used 30m Aldi hose from about 8-9 years ago that is more kink-resistant than the supposedly kink-resistant Gardena hose that is only a few months old.

Yep just read on product review. It seems like a nightmare hose. I really don't want hose link as I hate that they use proprietary connections.
Costco had a good deal earlier this year on hozelock I need something like that to pop up again.
Any recommendations on this, the bunnings option or is the hoselink (at double the price) worth it over these?

Thanks. I just checked and had in my head they were around the $200 mark, with 10% off. Current price at 10% off with a $10 discount still makes hoselink $237.50 for a 30m reel. At $275 they need to put the pipe down.

That site doesn't look particularly reliable. It's full of referral links. Overall it looks like the same generic hose that lots of places sell.
Would avoid mytopia (same company as AGR machinery) due to it's long history of shipping poor quality goods and not honouring warranties.

Yep me too. They bake in the QLD sun year after year and continue to work fine.
Anyone know how long the inlet hose is on this? My tap is about 2m from the mounting position on my fence
