yeah its pricey, but it looks cool. Reminds me of those hotel toaster ovens. Oh i see, yeah you do hear about older appliances being made better then todays stuff.
I have Cuisinart steam oven CSO-300NXA which does excellent job at toasting apart from being excellent at being an small oven.
Second the Cuisinart CSO-300NXA as a budget option, but for better results and control I'd go the premium option of an Anova Precision Oven
They have a sale on now, and will have sporadic sales through the year. Best one I've seen is post-Fathers Day, where there's often stacking sales (IE a sale for Fathers Day and an additional coupon afterwards)
260 pounds == roughly $485 AU - (as per youtube clip)
that's a very expensive toaster oven.
If can't find anything similar in Kmart … then most probably find an old style one in an OP shop (for less than $10).
These used to be really popular back around 1960's-1980's (my grandmother used to have 1 in her kitchen whenever we visited) … except they just won't have any of the modern extras compared to current models.
almost 100% guarantee … a toaster oven from the 1970's would do a similar job as to a $485 toaster oven from today … but would just need to watch the food … rather than walking away and letting the oven do its thing.
