Where does it say it was $84?

  • It must be a steam oven. It even says it on the box.

      From the manual:

Note: Water cup maximum capacity is 5 ml.

That's not going to give you very much steam! But then, this is a toaster oven, so you probably don't want much steam… soggy toast? I don't get why this product exists.

Does it steam a good ham?

Doesn't really look like a Steam oven to me.

It’s really more of an Albany expression

more like a steam-assisted oven rather than a true steam oven

    • Doesn't look like it can steam a fish XD

Got a K Mart oven about a year ago since my apartment is too small for a regular one. Not this one though.

Terrible, like an Easybake Oven. I'd avoid.

    • Awesome. Thanks for the advice

  • More landfill

  • Not a steam oven in the coventional sense. This is an oven with a slight humidifing capability. You will never see steam in it.

  • looks like some premium e-waste

I have this, much prefer toast out of this than a normal toaster. Does a similar thing to the hyper expensive toasters like the Mitsubishi and the Balmuda.

  • I just got one and I have to say that I'm really impressed with it. As someone has mention, this is basically a knock-off of a Balmuda Japanese toaster that retails for around 300 US dollars. Surely they must have cut corners somewhere but so far its performing great. Even parts of the instruction manual are literally a copy and paste from the Balmuda manual. Even if the steam was just a gimmick, 45 dollars is a really good price for a toaster oven.
