Bottom line suggests 24/7… But we are all working 25/8 these days. Seems too expensive to me.
Looking for ways to reduce costs of my pool pump.
If a pool pump typically ran at 1100w an hour, this battery would only last 1-2hrs? But then the solar charging would help it extend for another hour or so?
Spending 1600$ to reduce pool pump cost ? Not sure about the math. Cheaper to just setup solar panels don’t you think ?
Run the pump in off-peak
Invest in a rooftop solar system
Get rid of the poolpump. Those are your only realistic options. Even if you managed to charge this for free it would never pay itself off.
A power bank that can charge my phone 120 times!
Weight?
Net weight 16.6kg
Gross weight including all the accessories and packages is around 21kg.
Terrible deal - 1512Wh lithium ion NMC batteries in a small enclosure is a disaster waiting to happen
eBay listing states "Lithium battery" but deliberately does not mention the NMC chemistry as listed on
Growatt's own product specs
For the same $1/Wh, skip these significantly more dangerous lithium ion NMC batteries and get a Bluetti or EcoFlow with vastly superior LFP chemistry
Can these be used as a UPS permanently?
