NordVPN: 98% Cashback (New NordVPN Customers) @ ShopBack

150

Deal is back.

Tried proton recently. Was not happy with speed reduction compared to no vpn across 5G and wifi considering the huge premium that service demands. 98% cb with Nord seems ok.

Must be new member.
YMMV with shopback.

  • How much is it?

    • 80 buxs

      • I think it's 80 USD -> worked out to be $140 AUD for me

  • Nord doesn’t have Indian servers iirc , not sure if this has changed

    • The only time I ever needed an Indian VPN was for sign up of Indian YouTube premium. That took like no time at all and used an express on trial. What is everyone else using a full time Indian vpn for?

      • They use Indian servers for Hotstar and Jio cinema which have good content it seems , haven’t used both but keep hearing about them

  • Would this also count for a dedicated IP addon?

I had a weird issue this morning
My first attempt to pay via credit card failed so I went to use PayPal instead. Authorised fine. Using iOS app, it then got to step 2 where it asks you to download Nord app. Which I did … but then nothing happens and then it goes to a window where it says order processing do not close window… which I left open for 3 hours. In the mean time I did get the confirmation emails that account is active and live agent for Nord confirmed live. I did close the window since then.

Shopback app shows my click in … but wondering if this will stuff my cashback to say I’d be ropeable if issues would be an understatement… so wanting to address this early.

    • Hey mate, it is possible that there's been a break in connection on Nord's side in which case Cashback may not track, but if that's the case, we recognise your click in and would just need to reach out to Nord to get tracking approved via a Missing Cashback claim.

      • Thank you!

Got email this morning Transaction successful!, and tracking at 143.05. Safe to assume it’s on track now or should I follow up later ?

        • +1

Ah perfect, glad to hear it! Nah you're all good, only possible issue would have been that the shopping trip was interrupted which might have impacted tracking, but as it's tracked you shouldn't have any other trouble.

  • Does anyone have any recommendations for a vpn service that supports port forwarding?

  • Does this work if you use an existing ShopBack account that has been used to claim NordVPN cashback already?
I was planning to create new account on NordVPN. Now sure if they will not give cashback

I believe it's a new NordVPN user/email, doesn't care about your SB/CR email. I think there's a "megapost" somewhere about it that goes into all the details.

  • TLDR; NordVPN works well, but I'll have to second the 'remember to turn off the autorenew' or you might be shocked with their renewal price and lack of notification.

I forgot, and got charged A$155.89 for a one-year plan, without any email from them with a quote, an invoice or a receipt. I only noticed this charge when reviewing my bank statement. They also have a money-back policy at https://support.nordvpn.com/Billing/Payments/1047407702/What…, which states "We do not grant refunds for recurring subscription payments if you cancel the Services after the renewal unless applicable law provides otherwise", so you want to be on the ball with applying for a refund before the new period of service kicks in. (At least the charge happened 14 days before renewal so that there is a chance to notice and react before the new period of service kicks in).
