A couple of family members would like prepaid credit cards (instead of specific store gift cards), and I need to get them today. Do I need to be concerned about buying "dud" cards? Where is the safest place to buy them from? Or is that not even an issue?
Where is the safest place to buy prepaid credit cards today?

Agree, nothing better than hard, cold cash in your case OP!
Cash or dump it onto a phone, watch etc…
Not a prepaid credit card but a Prezzee Smart eGift Card can be redeemed at most major stores including Amazon, eBay, Bunnings, Myer, JB, etc. I received one as a gift and it was pretty easy to use - you just convert all or part of the balance to a virtual gift card for the store you're interested in.
TCN VISA no fee on Card.Gift.
Activ VISA no fee on Giftz.
Offers end today or tomorrow.
Can they be used to pay ATO?
I can actively recommend prezee so good
Can be tricky for the relos who are not good with tech though. Explaining how to download an app and setup can be painful…I use Prezzee without app just web. You can print cards after swapping.
Woolies, Coles Aldi etc all sell them.
Only safe if you check them very careful before buying them to see if they have been tampered with.
No such things as a fully safe card these days.
I get them from my LPO. It's small and the staff are eagle eyed, so no dodgy business with gift & prepaid credit cards.
I think Prezzee is.
Today was before chrissy…… Way too late.
no such thing as a safe prepaid credit card. if not used quickly, it will only be a matter of time before they are used by hackers instead
Where is the safest place to buy them from?
Deon Hong
I ended up buying them from Kmart.
Give them cash?
Otherwise, pretty much any major retail store sells them. Have a look a previous deals as well.
