Not sure which one to buy? There's a quiz here or just read the product description?

I'm using Engage for parenting, it just takes the edge off my 8-week-old's gnarly cry and is great when my 2-year-old is also demanding attention at the same time. I can hear them, but the sound isn't as overwhelming, and I don't lose my cool.

Before you come at me with, "There's a dupe on Ali Express for 50c", I've tried them, and the autophony was unbearable; I'll take screaming kids over having my own breath and heartbeat replayed in my ear.

These are great. For anyone wishing the world was just a touch quieter, the engage are life changing.

Tried the base Loop Quiet and they lasted a couple of hours before being returned and went back to silicon Macks. YMMV .

FARK! Bought these for a Christmas present at the start of the week - just arrived yesterday… Laziness wins but whining about it doesn't take too much effort!

    • Comtact customer service. You will probably get a credit. Worth a try.

      • True - thanks… I thought Amazon had specifically stopped doing this, but you're not wrong - I'll give it a go.

        Happy hols!

I was just looking at these. Thank you

Has anyone tried the adjustable ones?

    the autophony was unbearable

Had this with every other earplug solution I've tried, didn't know there was a name for this! So the loop ones definitely don't have this problem?

Maybe the newer ones are better.

I bought Loop Quiet last year https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/741253 . Can't tell the difference from the $1.99 ones from Aliexpress except a nice little plastic casing to keep them.

    • Agree

    • I've tried a few other brands and they hurt my ear and don't fit all that well, imo Loop is best in category. In terms of reducing noise, nothing ever will do it completely.

    • Got a link to specific ali listings

I went for the engages awhile ago. As someone with adhd they really do help with taking the edge off

I have the experience plus and use these for motorcycling, so worth it. Dampens the noise while still be able to hear my surroundings

I've had a pair in the early days of their release. Awful product. Fake advertising. Don't waste your money.

  • Recommendations for the noise sensitive who dont want to spend $35 on earplugs but hate the disposable ones?

  • Tomorrowland version not on special..? 😪

Bought these a few months ago as I regularly go to concerts and was sick of using disposable ones. Once you play around with the sizing, they fit very snug in the ear and are really comfortable. I bought the Experience Plus but if I were to do it again I'd just get the Experience personally. Highly recommend!

wish I had heard about these 12 months ago while raising our newborn. I would mostly use samsung buds and play music but this obviously just masked the noise rather than reduce it. Got the mrs to use disposable buds as some stage but wasn't as comfortable and you can't hear the outside world.

    Thanks! Got the plus

  • Are the silicon tips a standard size, so replaceable with aftermarkets or from existing earbuds?

I have one of these, use it for gigs, so much better. Not sure what one I have.

  • Was planning to get the switch so the various modes were available. Doesnt appear to be on Amazon though
