Might be the headset for me since I feel like I'm going to snap any day now.
I do like razer products but don't game enough for a headset. Got two headsets from work anyways so could use either one of if do want to game with a headset. If it were Bluetooth I'd grab it, as I could use it for work.
Seems like a decent price for a Razer product (even through racer synapse can be a malfunctioning pain)
better go with epos gsp 300, for $39 on ebay whe on sale
$24.50 if you have $10 perks
These Razor are very filmsy. I've gone thru about 4 kranken in the past 2 years. they are always this price on sale. But have bought a logitec G335 and has last way longer than these. sound and mic quality wise, the razor is slightly better i'd say. But i just get super annoyed at how easily it cracks by just putting it on your head. lol
Try a Steelseries Arctis 3 if USB connectivity isn't a necessity.
The console edition is occasionally down the $50-ish mark that the Krakens can be bought for but IMHO the build quality is a bit better.
I've had my Kraken (the flouro green TE model) since about 6 months into covid and they're still going but has the occasional issue where one side of the headphones will cut out.
Good info, might try to flog one of these off and keep one as a backup. Got them as part of a $99 monitor deal with PLE.
expired
They feel quite flimsy and creaks quite a bit. Not too bad for that price though. Just have to be a bit careful, I feel like they'll snap any day now.
