SOLD OUT
Maisel's Weisse Original 500ml 20-bottle case
ABV: 5.2%
500ml bottles
20-bottle case
Best before: 25/01/2024
Dispatch Date direct from brewery: 29/12/2023
Tasting note: The fresh bouquet of choice yeast and pleasant fruit tones combine at the first taste with the mild flavours of malt, fruit and fragrance of cloves with a hint of nutmeg. The slightly fruity, full-flavoured wheat beer fragrance typical for Maisel’s Weisse, is then revealed in the aftertaste.

OR

Maisel’s Weisse Kristall 500ml 20-bottle Case
Wheat Beer
ABV: 5.2%
500ml bottles
Best before: 25/01/2024
Dispatch date direct from brewery: 29/12/2023
Tasting note: Crystal-clear brilliance and lively sparkling carbonic acid are the outstanding features of Maisel’s Weisse Kristall and make it a wonderfully exuberant refreshment. Due to the special composition of sun-ripened wheat varieties and brighter barley malts, fermented and aged with their special white yeast, unfolds at first sip a balanced bouquet of different fruit flavours of ripe banana to a slight citrus note, which mixes at departure with the typical, slightly spicy wheat beer flavour. A predicate for a particular quality.

I'm still waiting on my order of the XPA cans which were meant to be dispatched by 11/12 and STILL are not on their way. Craft Cartel tell me they didn't actually have stock at the time of taking orders. So much for Christmas beers….

    • That's no good or cheers. Also these have 'DISPATCH DATE: 29/12/2023'

But drink 'Best before: 25/01/2024' -

So, essentially if ever get a drop even after festive period.

      • +4

Beer is fine for well after the best before date.

        • I feel maxxpowa wants it by this xmas - not next.

  • Ordered from these guys last month with a following week dispatch - the order arrived within 3 days of dispatch.

    Good deal.

Notably this discount can't be used in conjunction with the PROST promo code.

Thats pretty misleading to include it in this deals writeup

  • Also see Allow 7-10 days (excluding public holidays coming up) and couriers may not meet times. https://craftcartel.com.au/shipping-delivery/

    Pickup would be idea hey

    • Agree for those that want to buy soon expired alcohol or otherwise -
and yet according to Craft Cartel strict licensing restrictions
      by NSW regulatory authority:

      " 3. 0002030 No walk-up
The licensee must ensure that the sale of liquor is limited to taking orders over the telephone or
by facsimile or mail order, or through an Internet site

      6. No liquor products for sale under this licence are to be delivered or stored at the licensed
      premises."

    OOS

"Dispatch Date direct from brewery: 29/12/2023" So is this brewed locally under license? Doubt it will be shipped directly from Germany?!

    • Excellent point.
      OP to clarify.
And if so actual delivery time then.

  • +2

    Just seen that Craft Cartel
    also use a courier company
    called ARAMEX
    from customer reviews read.

ARAMEX reviews nearly 6000 at one star https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/aramex-courier.

    • +2

      Aramex is horrible.

      • Exactly (and unfortunately), I know this from my own unpleasant, drawn—out experience.

  • +1

I ordered. 3 cases last time on the 5th of dec delivery to 2166. still no update on delivery.

    • I understand how frustrating

  • out of stock

  • As dispatch date is 29.12.2023 (Friday next week)
    - and if not requested in sale note on order page -
then capable to still email Craft Cartel
    at [email protected]
    - to send/ship beer with Australia Post (mentioned on their FAQs page) at least;
instead of ARAMEX, and for example Courier Please (1.5 stars from over 11,000 reviews www.productreview.com.au/listings/couriers-please), among other couriers for delivery (State/Territory) destination.

  • If any anyone is notified:
    As curious with promised date
    to dispatch is tomorrow.

  • Also,

Craft Cartel advertises on its website its address as follows:

Craft Cartel Liquor (aka Wenty North Liquor)
15-19 Beatty St North Shore VIC 3214

Which seems is the same address as this 3rd party logistics provider at https://g3pl.com.au/contact/

And Craft Cartel registered business address

32 Grose St, Parramatta NSW 2150

According to its actual Gov't license at https://www.liquorandgaming.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_fil…

Also, when telephone advertised number on its website - (02) 8055 3711 - only receive an answering machine, so unable to contact quickly when required.

  • For prompt delivery in 3 days (+/-)
    request delivery
    is via Austpost instead.

As found preferable to other couriers.
