this is just a keyboard. you'd still need to spend a bucket of money on the ipad. almost $2k for the 12.9s, much less for a regular base model.
at the cheaper price it might be worth it, but laptops are way more useful
ios sucks for a computer. I tried to use a 12.9" for a few weeks and enjoyed it, until I sat back down at my laptop and realised how much better it is at everything except media consumption.
Now the ipad is a glorified travel monitor.
