    If you like 3D platformers, this is quite fun. I played a couple years ago during Covid and surprised I hadn't played sooner. Very Banjo Kazooie-like in terms of the game style.

      Would you rather spend $60 annually and if not renewed you lose access or pay $6 for a digital copy you keep forever?

      I know in my mind what is ‘worth it’ and it’s not online + expansion pack.

    $4.50 is for the sequel, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, which is a 2D sidescrolling game. The first game (this deal) is a 3D platformer.

  I saw a review once that, unlike Banjo Kazooie etc, the collectibles are quite dispersed and will leave you searching for a single item around a corner down a pipe etc…

  Nice, I worked on this! I recommend unlocking moves inside levels and moving onto the next one, then eventually coming back to complete each level properly later. It makes for the better experience in my opinion. Also Impossible Lair is a big improvement - give that one a chance. :)
