eufy Security Cam 2 Pro 2K Wireless Home Security System (4 Pack)
I needed a single add-on cam for my Homebase 2, so couldn't get the new fancy ones. But this one is pretty good with long battery life.

3 months battery life, not sure if it works with Homebase 2.
It doesn't work with Homebase 2. Homebase 3 support will either be there, or coming.
will bunnings price beat?
bunnings is price beating jbhifi.. addtional 10% off.
just went and asked for price beat off coupon price of 899.10, they said they cant price beat with coupon applied, can only price beat on 999.
https://ibb.co/WKmNhYQ i was able to get pricw matched..
Is it worth going into the Homebase 2 ecosystem if I don't currently own anything, or best off to pay more for the 3?

$1445.09 for 4-pack and Homebase 3
Quck glace - this has 4K cameras, and the cameras have solar panels. So if it works as intended you don't have to recharge. The older one in this post lasts up to 365 days on a full charge. Homebase 3 will also be more future-proof when eufy releases new gear.
So it's up to you; is the new one worth an extra ~$550? Depends which devices you want to connect to your Homebase.
Personally I'll pay up because I'm lazy and don't want to climb a ladder to take down cameras in high traffic areas every few months to recharge. But I'm stuck with HB2 with indoor/outdoor cameras, doorbell, sensors etc
Edit: the HB3 4 pack is $1,439.10 after discount
But I'm stuck with HB2 with indoor/outdoor cameras, doorbell, sensors etc
Wouldn't HB3 handle the older gear? (Genuine question)
Also noting that apparently HB3 has more/more accurate functionalities, eg. detection etc.
I can buy an HB3, but all the devices I have are HB2 compatible. I only need 1 extra camera. Not worth the upgrade imo
@rosebank: Fair enough.
Looks like lots of pre-HB3 gear is HB3-compatibile already: https://support.eufy.com/s/article/Centralize-Your-Security-…
Mainly was interested in a door bell at the moment, with cameras likely sometime within a year.
Was thinking it might just be better to go with a cheaper option like a ring and reevaluate the rest in a six months
All the doorbell bundles come with HB2. Make up your own mind and DYOR, I've already given you my opinion.
You should do a SWOT analysis and make a Gantt chart.
unsure why no one else tried to get price beat! i got https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/eufy-security-eufycam-3-4… for 1295 from bunnings
Wouldnt this one be better? https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/eufy-security-c210-2k-sol…
