  We have been flooded with refurbs for this series of headphones, even for models recently released. Doesn't that ring alarm bells about durability?
  Also, had a new pair of XM3's, worked nicely until they chucked an Apple and pushed a firmware update…and that's when the XM4 was released. I'm getting off this hamster wheel.

  As a positive point, have had these since Nov 2020 - they're still going strong and only after 3 years of daily use have the leather earmuffs begun to wear out.

  I'd recommend these again to anyone in a heartbeat over Bose QC35s or Apple Airpod Max
