PS5I was originally content with the pc version, but when they were cheap on the next gen consoles I had to bite and get them again lol. The recent ish ps5/xbsx versions were about $15 each. I've played the story multiple times on every platform (excluding ps3/360). A game THAT good is worth it.
Have done the same with the older GTA titles(original plus gta 2 pc/psx). GTA III/VC/SA (2* physical copies on ps2, 2 physical copies on pc (1 amray case and 1 foldout digi pack release), 2x digital releases - 1 from a uk digital gaming platform and when they reappeared on Steam in the early 2010s), 2x definitive remastered editions on ps5/xbsx.
IV was purchased both physically and digitally on the 360 and ps3. Digitally on pc.
Itsnot the only game I've repurchased on other platforms. I used to do it with the yearly sports titles (fifa, madden, nba 2k). The Arkham franchise is another.

There was no Special Edition version of this game. It's GTA5 Premium Edition. You must have got it back in 2020 when Epic Games gave it for free.
