Ok do I need another one?

    • Not super keen on this torch so I'll have to see if there is anything else of interest. Butterfly fork anyone?

        Butterfly fork anyone?

        Not for that price haha.

        • I reckon it'd be fun to flick around but yeah, how did they come up with that price. I guess they gotta get some of their money back. Maybe they think the people that will actually buy it won't look at the price tag.

@ozbs25: I'm assuming due to the 'Grade 5 titanium alloy handle'

            Anything titanium = mark-up.

    90 lumens?

Even my arse shines brighter than that.

    • +2

      90 lumens?

At least it's honest, since it's only powered by a single AAA battery.

Unlike like some of the torch you find on AliExpress/Wish/Temu claiming thousands/millions of lumens.

      • Chinese lumens? 🤔 Hah

      • Hey, some of those torches can put out hundreds of lumens for around 30 seconds before dimming!

    • +2

I'd say the 90 lumens is too bright for a lot of things. The other torch they give away from time to time has a lower lumen setting which comes in handy.

      • Agreed. I ended up re-gifting my i3e when I got my rechargeable version from Olight. the i3e was most of the time too4 bright for the kind of work I was using it for.

The 5 lumen low setting on the iTHX is what I use most of the time now, and it means the battery lasts for a long time. If I need it, the high setting of 100 or whatever is just a twist away.

I will never understand my own bizzare compulsion to buy torches, even though I have plenty already.

    • I was going to as they had some bonus free stuff but I was too slow. If they bring it back maybe I'll bite. I have so many of the free torches and this design doesn't really appeal to me.

      • Until you chuck a 10440 into it!….
