It is recently superseded by the Action 4 which is better and is currently the best action camera. But Action 3 is still very good especially for the price.

    After one point, dont all action cameras behave and record the same ? Until there is a big technology breakout, the likes of 8k etc ?

      There are incremental improvements in the stabilisation and the efficiency (heat, battery life etc), but I get what you're saying. I recently upgraded my GoPro Hero 7 to a Hero 11 and the difference wasn't Earth-shattering.

      Already available, Insta360 Ace Pro. But has a lot of negatives e.g. non replaceable lens

        You just need to tell them that it's "sold and delivered by Catch" (listed on the page). They might think it's a marketplace sale. I just got it price matched as well at JB.

    I got Osmo action gen 1 and still very happy with it
    only use occasionally (mainly for water sports) as day to day vlog prefer to use DJI osmo pocket

      Yup it is worth it, personally I think it is better than go pro series as GoPros often overheats.
