We have the X3, and its of Middling Quality at best.
Do not buy expecting performance that matches the RRP as you will be significantly underwhelmed.

Got this through Telstra, not worth even $20, total and utter rubbish. Coles must be marketing their pricing

    • Same, got the X2 instead. I have expected better sound quality given their RRP, but I think it's a total rubbish. And they proudly tell that they are 100% Australian designed and owned! Can't Australian make something better? For anyone thinking of getting this, don't waste your money.

      • I bet if you pulled it apart, it would have made in China everywhere.

      • "And they proudly tell that they are 100% Australian designed and owned! Can't Australian make something better?"

more and more lately, seems like "100% Australian owned small local business" etc is just another way of describing drop shipper.

      • Designed and owned - but probably not manufactured here.

I think it's a shame though to be truthful. I would pay a little more for a quality Australian product. I'd still be buying Holden or Ford now if I could :(

We sell these as a reseller and a few customers get better sound by performing a factory reset and pairing again. Somehow the codec gets screwed up and it goes really low bitrate and tinny. Factory reset seems to clear the issue in all cases we've had don't know why but worth trying before you landfill it I guess?
