Was a big fan of the Aqua ducks when I lived on the Goldcoast. Made the mistake of buying a floating lounge first and found it way too hot as you sit above the water. Aqua ducks keep you wet.
If living in a cooler climate though it might be different.

      • the beauty of the pool noodle chair is 2 noodles cable tied together, end up under your armpits, the 3rd pool noodle crossways under your legs/butt (depending on where your balance point is, and so really only neck and above is above water….$7 and save on so much sun lotion (especially if you also wear a hat and i do because autism - sensitive to evil sunlight - a lot of my people are moon tanners, pagan folk)

pic of shape when in use (simulated by belt across two top ends of under leg pool noodle

and the cable tie method i used - best done with two people, though if youre an aspie and like limiting human contact, you can do it yourself like i did :)

        1) cinch the 2 round waist pool noodles together a foot or so back from each end with a belt, and whack a 300mm (or longer if you can find them, no shorter though) cable tie around and tighten with pliers
        2) place under leg pool noodle on chair and center it (so each arm is same length to the sides)
        3) place waist pool noddles under arms, sit down on chair,
        4) orientate waist pool noodles so they lay flat together horizontally
        5) raise one under leg pool noodle to meet under waste pool noodle, and mark on under leg where it meets the waist pool noodle, do same on other side
        6) off the chair, lay the waist noodles so they stack vertically
        7) place marked under leg noodle between them
        8) push as close to existing cable tie as possible
        9) with belt, cinch on the other side of under leg noodle, as hard as you can
        10) place cable tie around both waist noodles and tighten with pliers
        11) cut ends of cable ties, or if you dont want to be poked by sharp plastic from cutting cable tie ends, tuck the ends into the gap between noodles like i did

Unless you jump in it, the friction fit is not going to move…

Add the Beach Ball and use the code WAHUNA to get it down to $81.98 (plus delivery)

  • Disappointed this wasn't a WIHA pool. 😪

  • You can get the Wahu Supa Doopa Pool Slide down to $159 with the codes WAHUNA or BEACHED too. Still not cheap enough for me though lol

  • I expected Wahu to be leaders in this market, but was extremely disappointed by their inflatable millennium falcon. Took an eternity to inflate (no quick inflate/deflate valves), and popped a seam (virtually impossible to repair) the first time it was used (by the 27kg child it was gifted to).

I don't know if Wahu were going for Star Wars realism, but they certainly nailed "what a piece of junk"
