This one says 4 mic while the original listing says 6 mic. the model is same, am I missing something?
Nevermind, it's not the description. The pictures state different data then the description in both listing.
4 mic —> 6 mic in picture
9/36 hrs —> 10/40 Hrs in pictureWhy is the rrp for the white vs the black so diff? - 164.5$ vs 99.95$
And do you have to use app with these?
are these better than samsung galaxy bud 2
no, galaxy buds are much better sounding earbuds.
Seems it doesn't have multipoint. Missed liberty 4 nc last night.
What's multipoint?
Connects with 2 devices at the same time. I connect mine vivo tws 2 with Laptop and Mobile at the same time. I can watch a video on laptop, pause it and stop playing video on mobile and it transfers automatically. No need to disconnect from laptop and connect to mobile. Calls are on priority, so if i am watching something on laptop and a call comes on mobile, it automatically switches to mobile for the call. Can't even think of headphone without multipoint.
Previous deal of Liberty 4 NC mentions multipoint but this one doesn't.
this brand has been known to steal and sell customers data like Huawei Chinese private brand so I will pass.
Yes they do, but they also make good earbuds/headphones too.
Is it better than google pixel buds A series?
Bought these last week and the sound quality is really great for the price.
I have Samsung buds live, Sony xm3 buds, Bose quiet comfort buds and it beats the Samsung in sound quality and is pretty close to the other two.
I bought it to hook it up to nvidia shield pro.
The battery life is fantastic and better than the other buds I have.
The cons would be tricky to take out and in of the case especially if you have big hands. Also the lid would easily close when holding it to put buds in.
Was thinking of purchasing another for Amazon firestick but not sure as wouldn't mind another cheap buds with big discounts for Black Friday sale.
Can anyone suggest a good set for running and gym, touch control on my current pair gets activated by sweat, which disconnects/turns it off.
I personally recommend the galaxy buds 2 or 2 pro.
I find them great for running, you can add gestures where you can tap your cheeks/ears avoiding touch controls all together. They have high water resistance rating compared to most buds. Worst come to worst, you can also disable the touch function on the app. I've got a soundcore liberty air 2 pro, and for some reason you can't disable touch controls in the app, I'd imagine this is similar.
If you got a PC or samsung watch, they also seamlessly pair with them (sometimes I go for a run with just watch and buds)
The galaxy buds have a much more neutral sound profile, which is great for audiophiles who care about accuracy. But don't "sound as good", to most people, because most people prefer bassy sound signatures.
How about Open Ear Air Conduction type?
Sorry, I have no idea what that is

Air Conduction better for Sport
@superforever: Today i learnt.
Why are they better for sports? Is it spacial awareness?
Why are they better for sports?
I think is because of no need to insert into the ear and won't fall off and you can hear surrounding.
@superforever: Personally, I'm opened to trying new buds, but don't find those appealing at all. I can't imagine any decent sound can come from vibration from your skull. A lot of these buds have transparency mode if you want it
I've owned about 20 wirleess buds at this point, probably about 2-3 I would be uncomfortable wearing them for running
@superforever: I see, unsurprisingly, they are still quite terrible in terms of sound quality based on the reviews I've seen
@Butt Scratcher: Some are not too bad for music, of course not the same as in ear, especially calling.
I have been looking into afterShokz bone conduction, and I have noticed many ads for the "air conduction" style (where the speaker is held out a few mm clear of your ear), but I am a bit sceptical about those ones.
As an aside, I was wondering if the music/strava notifications I hear out loud in the crowd during parkrunns are from these? If others can hear them when I am running I do not really find that appealing and may be a bit annoying.@repeat: The Aftershokz ones you could actually use as air conduction - the ones I had (Aeropex) if you held them slightly away from your ear you could still hear the music/sound. Broken them but - had in my pocket and sat on them… :(
Very happy with them but!
I have the Galaxy Buds+ but have not used them for ages. I think they all have capacitive controls, which seem to be what causes the problem (sweat bead registers as long press -> disconnect then power off) - I will look into Galaxy if they do not fall into this behaviour as ambient mode is important for me.
I dont have a galaxy watch (I use Garmin) but have a samsung phone though (although I sometimes just use my watch during exercise). Can't you turn off capacitive touch? or at least disable long press
I sold my buds+ ages ago, so I can't remember if you can turn it off. But my original buds pro was able to turn it off (released after buds+). I'm also pretty sure the buds+ had ear tap gestures or edge tap
@Butt Scratcher: Thanks - I will check out whether I can on the Buds+.
I have been using the Creative Outlier Air 3 and Sensemore, which you can change all functions except the power off and disconnect.
OOS?
Black ones slightly cheaper here.
