Pretty standard price per m for cat6

Unshieled cable that claims superior resistance to noise.

Flat 32awg thin wire that claims superior durability.

Yeah. The marketings mostly bullshit but hey, its cheap for the distance. I personally wouldnt chose a flat cable for a 45m run but you do you.

      Also note:

Because Amazon lumps all the reviews for different lengths together on cables, you often get the wrong impression.

Most people buy the shortest length, and give it 5 stars because it works. But the quality of the cable matters most at longer lengths, where the cheaper ones give worse performance (dropped packets, noise, frequent loss of connection, etc).

So you think you're reading reviews of a 45m cable that works great, but you aren't.

      • I bought one 30M from eBay , no drop loss of connection whatever but transfer rate a bit slower.

          transfer rate a bit slower.

          Guess why.

          • @Ademos: Of course because of the flat cable but just a little bit slower and no dropout whatsoever.

But it is so much better to run a flat cable from one end of the house to the other end.

@superforever: Speeds slow when you're losing packets, and it has to send that information again. Aka, dropping out.

This is why no, its not better. Triply so if youre using power over ethernet, on thin wires
