decent for home use.. professionally i stay away from knives with bolsters. Makes it harder to sharpen.

As a chef for 20+ years.. my recommendation would be a 20-25 cm victorinox cook's knife. You can get the wooden handle if you wanna get fancy.. but i prefer the lightweight ones. Excellent quality to price ratio. Sharpens nicely and holds its edge fairly well.

They're the toyota corollas of kitchen knives. lol

when i first bought henkels in HK 2006 they were promoting as made in Japan (uncertain as the release date)

i am unsure when they moved manufacturing to China

the forged Japanese henkels were 18cm at 19AUD as present
the plastic zwillings pair were 21AUD kept for myself one handle broken one got damage by hot plate
