How's their return policy? I did 2x in the past (on the same day but different time), both with cashrewards, 1 tracked, 1 didn't
Shopback cs always sorts it out for me. I just hope they continue to do so.
Did they pay though? The last time I raised missing request to Shopback (was BigW directly, not MyDeal), they added it to the tracking, but later on was declined by BigW and they said nothing they could do if the merchant declined. CR added it to the tracking manually too with my MyDeal order but don't know the end result yet, as it's not due yet
@hanofee: I thought it was confirmed and I have just checked and it was rejected. $85. I'm not (profanity) happy about that. I'm going to try contact CS again and provide the evidence because I did everything I was supposed to. I have had one instance of a transaction tracking with Mydeal so I don't believe it's my adblocker or anything interfering with the tracking.
Say a phone charger. I would assume that counts as Electronics? And I would only get 3.5% and not 25%?
It should not be electronic. Games are inside of "electronic" and it tracked anyway
I would assume its part of electronics as its an electrical item.
Quite a few of the items on mydeal are miscategorised, which sometimes gives an advantage on cashbacks structured like this.
The only problem being that they deliberately obfuscate which category an item is in when you navigate to it from search. (Going as so far to blanking the category in the javascript object) You have to punch the url into an incognito window in order to see what category an item belongs to.
(For example, there are quite a few phone chargers under Vehicle Parts -> Car Electronics -> Car Chargers, which I'd argue might not be in the Electronics section. Although, they're quite heavily overpriced compared to what I'd reasonably pay for chargers of their spec)
