From today's paper and on the front page of their website:
$99 for an external vanilla HDD seems a good deal if you're in the market for some extra space. Cheapest on StaticIce (excl shipping) is $115.
Note that at time of posting, the "buy online" direct link still says cost is $125!
EDIT: Link now says $99.
Model is: WDBAAU0020HBK-AESN - 2TB, (only) USB 2.0, looks like external (not USB) powered, and is a 'green' drive.
Some other deals on the same newspaper spread (which I haven't checked to see if they're deals or not) - you decide:
- Soniq 32" LED LCD TV - $298
- HP 15" i5 Lappy (G6-2125TX) - $635.20
- HP 15" i7 Lappy (G6-2148TX) - $718.40
- HP 15" i7 Lappy (M6-1009TX) - $793.60
- HP 13" i7 Ultrabook (13-2005TU) - $1358.40
Plus there's a selection of 2-for-$20 Blu-rays
$49.50 per TB price-breakthrough, yay. Only it's Usb2.
..Still with @ only 2.0tb this probably doesn't matter.
