Is this better than the Dell Single Monitor Arm - MSA20? I am using a 34" Dell monitor.

It’s not useless. If you want to ease of use and have a compatible monitor you can skip the VESA Mount and it attaches seamlessly.
The MSA20’s competition is probably the ergotron LX and the Amazon Basic desk mount which is at a similar price point
Worth pointing out the 10kg maximum TV/monitor weight. It's not listed in the specs but rather hidden in one of the product images.

first one is definitely not.
I know the 2nd link (arm) is rebranded ergotron. $160 is not a good price though. seen it for around $120 to $130 regularly a year ago. check 3xcamels.
Nice find, I generally ignore amazon basics stuff….because I'm not sure why. Will pay more attention.
I need to find a slimline mount that can attached to our work desks - there's a small scallop for cables/mounting at rear of desk, but there's also a privacy backboard so there's literally no space for the mount to extend behind the desk. Any ideas?
