Are these currently worth $100+ over the Bose Quietcomfort SEs?
I've got a pair of these. I can attest they're better than the Bose Q35 (or whatever they're called).
These Sonys have saved me from many a screaming baby on a flight.
The worst thing on the flight is a screaming child. Feel sorry for the parents as they can't do much…
Oh if there was an option to pay extra to be on flights with no kids I would pay it. I feel for the parents and the kids but I also feel for my own sanity lol.

At least according to RTINGS these have more noise cancellation and battery than Bose Quietcomfort 45(same as Quietcomfort SE but with hard shell carry case). Having said that I bought bose SE's as most reviewers praise Bose QC's for its light weight and less wearing fatigue.
