Supima Cotton Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt $14.90 (RRP $19.90) + $7.95 Delivery ($0 C&C/ $75 Order) @ UNIQLO

241

OzBargain's favourite Uniqlo t-shirt is on sale.

Gone are the days of $9.90 and $14.90 RRP for these bad boys, it would sadly seem.

I thought it hyperbole when Ronald Reagan said of inflation that it's "as violent as a mugger, as frightening as an armed robber and as deadly as a hit man." But then I saw that it has done to the RRP of our beloved supima cotton crews.

So there you have it. Might be as good as it gets for now.

8% 2% back on cashrewards too, for those so inclined.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2023

I swear these were $7.90 when I was at Uniqlo Northland late last week. I even bought one (v-neck style though).

EDIT - sorry these were the ones I was thinking of: https://www.uniqlo.com/au/en/products/E427916-000?colorCode=…

I wish they did a slightly thicker version - the normal supimas are just so thin and lose a bit of shape pretty quickly

    • Agreed! These don't last a yr but they are so comfy!

    • Yeah exactly. These shirts are pretty average these days, no better than just going to a department store and getting their cheapies for a similar or cheaper price.
These exact T Shirts used to be tier 1, were thicker and lasted a few years. In 2017/2018 the quality fell off a cliff and the price stayed the same. Shame, they used to be my go-to.

Uniqlo's UT brand is the same quality as what these ones used to be, but you have to get funky pictures all over your shirt:

      • I wish they had plain UT ones!

        • Probably look for oversized + some have very minimal graphics

Try Uniqlo U Series. I bought a white one early this year and it does feel slightly thicker than regular one.

but I never find them on sales though.

      • I did but U series are not soft as these though

Are these only suited to scrawny body types such as the models in the pics?

Most UNIQLO stuff is on the smaller side. Their shirts in particular are incredibly short even in XXL.

I've taken to buying their oversized T-Shirts instead which are currently 50% off https://www.uniqlo.com/au/en/products/E446935-000

That link also has graph showing the fit and weight of their various T-Shirt options.

      • It's like they have Big and not big…. So XXL is like an XXL oversized/3xl compared to most companies. Everything else is kind of slimmer/smaller fit imo.

I have found them to be true to sizing, I am usually a S or M and picked up a couple of S t-shirts and they are very well fitted! I'm 77kg and 175cm if that helps.

What's the difference between the listed ones and these $19.90 ones - https://www.uniqlo.com/au/en/products/E455365-000?colorCode=…

    • Yeah, I want to know that too. Looks exactly the same. They probably forgot to update the price on that link

      • I have white on both. The $19.90 ones seem to be the newer version of the $14.90 ones (the latter don't seem to be restocked in stores when they're sold out), and I've found to be better quality (thicker, better fit in general)

        • Same country of manufacture?

@cornbeef: The $19.90 ones are made in Vietnam and the $14.90 ones are India on mine

            • @fwz: Thanks. My last good ones were made in Cambodia.

The Airism tees are also $14.90. I bought a couple, I find them great for running in.
