Uber Eats: $25 off Each of Your Next 4 Orders (Regional Postcodes Only)

40411
GETEATSAU

Hi there!

I hail from New Zealand, but I think I may have found a deal. We've had a pretty tasty promo code roll out across a handful of NZ cities where Uber Eats has just opened up this month, with a promo code being "GETEATSNZ", which gives you $25 off of each of your next four orders. Out of curiosity, I tried "GETEATSAU" and the code was accepted. So I set my location to an address in Bathurst, NSW, and the deal appears to be working and shows up in the promotions page.

I couldn't find if this had been posted anywhere else online, so forgive me if this is a known code.

Here's a link to the cheapies post about the NZ version of this code.

Terms:

  • For 4 orders
  • Alcohol or other regulated items may not be eligible for this promotion

This offer is for up to $25 off your next four orders you place with the Uber Eats app. You may redeem this offer a maximum of four times. Delivery Fee applies (excluding Pickup orders). Service Fee applies to orders delivered by Uber Eats and is based on order value (before promotion or discount). Other fees may apply. Amount of up to $25 will be applied as a promotion or discount at checkout. $25 off does not apply to fees. Only available for orders with participating restaurants via the Uber Eats App. For personal use only. Any remaining value is forfeited if order value is below $25. Valid for use on up to four orders only. This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Valid only in select areas and cities where Uber Eats is available in Australia. Promotion expires on 11:59PM AEST 01/01/24.

EDIT: This promo code seems like it might be applicable only in certain cities. I suspect the cities in this list on the Uber newsroom post.

Commenters have confirmed it at least works in:

  • Bathurst
  • Mittagong
  • Alice Springs
  • Drouin/Warragul
  • Orange
  • Tamworth
  • Dubbo
  • Coffs Harbour

Code likely also works in these areas:

  • Armidale
  • Bowral
  • Nowra
  • Mount Gambier
  • Warrnambool
  • Devonport
  • Burnie
  • Gladstone
  • Traralgon

@Bigredkeg: if your odering from a restaurant thats not 5 minutes away, your food will be extremely cold especially from an uber driver u think they put your food on the car roof

        • +4

The same could be said of many things.
Lazy people don't paint their own houses, mow their own lawns, clean own carpet, wash own cars, catch bus instead of walk.
It's not always about being lazy, it's specialization, and the opportunity cost of your time.

That's not even accounting for your assumption everybody drives or has a vehicle.

          • @tonka: still they're lazy if they can do all those things they can jump on taste.com and cook something for themselves also if you don't have vehicle pay someone who does it be cheaper 😉

            • @froogletom: OK, I have to drive 5km minimum each way to get food (and usually queue up behind stacks of delivery drivers). Or I can get it delivered for extra $5 cost.

Does that $5 not become a bargain compared to the greater cost of fuel and wear and tear on my vehicle.

That's not counting it's often not $5 more and sometimes can be cheaper.

Plus experience has taught me that not using my time effectively is expensive itself. I could be comparing insurance, optimizing my tax etc. Doing some exercise so I don't need to buy new clothes :-). Painting the house maybe.

              • @tonka:

Does that $5 not become a bargain compared to the greater cost of fuel and wear and tear on my vehicle.

Whether you order or not, somebody has to pay for the fuel,
and someone else's vehicle is enduring the wear & tear.

It's always a "bargain", when it's not ours but someone else's, haha

                I understood your point already,
but my issue is that it's creating a completely new sub-culture of workers,
who struggle for 'bread crumbs', ie. the "gig economy", where it's a race to the bottom.

@whyisave: Completely different point to the one originally made, being that people that use Uber eats are lazy, kind of an attack on so many people here. And personally I've done many years as a delivery driver, and yes the pay is not great, so why does my using the industry I contributed so much to make me a bad person?
When I did it, it was different reasons at different times. Sometimes as a safety net between regular employment. Sometimes it was just to fill in a few hours I had spare, and I enjoyed driving around listening to tunes. And for quite a while for the tax benefit against my car which doubled the actual delivery income.

      • I literally hate people who comment this.

        As opposed to figuratively?

      • +1

        It's okay, i don't love you either.

    • you just notice that its why i never use it till i get " you haven't use the app in a while heres 50% off your next 10 orders"

  • Worked for me. Thanks OP

    Opps: No store accepting it

  • Doesn't work for any store in NSW I try..

    • +1

Worked in Tamworth NSW got $25 food free

  • Code is accepted but tried 5 random addresses in Melb but no eligible stores

  • No stores showing.

Uber was asleep at the wheel with rubbish deals for black friday imo

    • Uber was asleep at the wheel

      I feel like there's a pun, in there somewhere… :-)

      PS:
      I didn't neg you.

      • +1

Thanks - doesn't bother me who plusses or negs. Makes not an ounce of difference in the real world as I don't seek a job at CashRewards.

        • +1

Your loss brah. I'm accumulating my upvotes, will cash them in right at the peak of the market.

    • -1

So what? Why are you so entitled that you would neg a deal just because there's no stores showing for you? It doesn't mean it's not available for others.

Uber was asleep at the wheel with rubbish deals for black friday imo

lol further entitlement, not every company has to cater to your level of expectations with their black friday deals to not receive a neg

  • will not work for 6111 WA

  • Good try OP, but no dice for us in the cities =[

  • +1

Does not work in Geelong or Ballarat, so perhaps some regional postcodes only.

    • +1

Dear god what have I done?

In all seriousness, it does seem to work, but it's just a bit more limited in where it actually works.

      • lol, all good someone will get use out of it in regional areas

        • OzB regional marketing strategy

  • no stores available, tried to order and promo doesn't come up.

  • Not had a single uber eats promo of any kind in years. their marketing is ass.

    • +4

spent all their money getting kardashians and draco malfoy in their ads

  • +1

doesn't work with any shops even though it can be added to account

    • -1

It doesn't work for shops in your area, that doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone else so why neg the deal? It's targeted towards some regional postcodes.

  • -3

It applies but it is absolutely useless if no stores are participating in your area

    • -1

So just because no stores in your area are participating, you neg the deal? It's not useless for the people that do have stores participating nearby.

    • -1

for the record I did not report your comment if you ended up in the penalty box for it

  • +1

The edit in the OP is right, doesn't work for me but I tried an address in Bathurst and a million options popped up

    • Would you like some pizza?

      • Pretty sure everyone loves pizza lol

  • +3

Working for about 4 stores in Drouin/Warragul (regional Victoria), cheers OP.

  • Code entered ok, show stores gives me "Oops! Let’s try that again… Something went wrong loading this page"

  • +1

Works in Alice Springs - gonna fly out there for my 4 x 25$ off.

  • Works for shops in Orange (regional NSW)

  • Nah didn't work with mine.
Have Uber Eats acc unused for 2-3yrs.

  • +10

I posted the last deal on my Insta account in October
After a lot of research last time the surburbs are
    Coffs Harbour
    Port Macquarie
    Armidale
    Tamworth
    Bathurst
    Orange
    Mittagong
Bowral , Nowra , mount gambier , Warrnambool, Devonport , Burnie , Gladstone , Traralgon, Alice Springs , Griffith , golburn , Nowra

    • Interesting! I'll add these to the OP. Out of curiosity, what was the previous code that gave this deal?

    • Population is 100 at all of these places

  • +1

Thanks OP, will come in handy when I stay at my brother's place in Mittagong.

  • +1

Worked for GC, QLD but no stores around it says

  • would of been deal of the year if it wasnt so restricted

  • -2

    doesn't work

    • So what? Why are you so entitled that you would neg a deal just because it's unavailable for you? It doesn't mean it's not available for others.

      • -3

Yes (profanity) I need deals that's why I come here

        • And there's plenty of deals available here for you. There are also plenty of targeted deals that aren't available to you. And that's fine. And you've been here a while so it's likely that you have claimed targeted deals that you were eligible for. OzBargain should not only allow deals that aren't targeted. The world doesn't revolve around you.

      • -3

Yes I negged it because it doesn't work for me. Your smooth brain cannot comprehend

  • +5

How many upvotes are people who successful redeemed the code but yet to check if it applies to their orders?

    • +1

I only upvoted to counter the losers negging the deal just because it's not available for them.

  • -6

    Targeted trash

  • +4

Wild so many people are negging because it's not available close by. Sydney people can have a nice day out in Bowral and order a feed for free with pick up.

  • Maybe offers will add tomorrow

  • Thanks, worked

  • Currently unavailable in NSW for me

    • So what? Why are you so entitled that you would neg a deal just because it's unavailable for you? It doesn't mean it's not available for others.

  • -5

    No store

    • Why did you neg the deal just because there's no store for you? Doesn't mean there aren't any stores for others.

  • +1

Thanks for trying OP - would have been epic if it worked out

    • +2

The most epic Uber Eats deal for me (earlier this year??),
was the $100 off an order, for "joining" Uber One.

      • Yes.. I had it on 2 accounts and enjoyed the feast

  • +1

Code applied but no stores in Hobart area.

  • Worked for me in Melbourne so fantastic deal, well done OP

  • +1

worked in Tamworth thanks OP. Got indian curry only $6 with delivery.

  • Yeah doesn't work in my area too. I'm in nsw

  • No stores listed for Geelong area

  • Worked on the GC

  • Just ordered some food for random address that accepted this code.

  • Omg thanks a lot 🥲 works if I lived in rual 😜

  • +2

ITT: entitled city and suburban people negging a deal targeted towards some regional users

    • -4

Get over it penalty box word, you’ve replied the same thing half a dozen times already.

      • +1

I hope one day you learn to respect targeted deals. Good night~

        • +1

Respect? Lol. It's always leeches that have never posted deals that are the most rude and ungrateful.

  • +4

List of illegitimate neg votes by entitled users discriminating against targeted regional users:

    • silenthillrocks
    • Rick James18
    • Hudcon
    • Willy Beamish
    • mr_asstight
    • Xizor
    • arcticmonkey

    Discrimination sympathizers:

    • Tee Rex Arms

I will not be calling out the neg voters who did it before scrimshaw's edit about regional postcodes only. The rest of you knew better. And so does anyone who negs after I go to sleep.

Congratulations to anyone that was able to redeem it~

    • -3

      Lol get a life mate

    • Disgraceful!

      IP ban them Scotty!!!

    • That's comedy gold 🤣

  • Nice one. Inner Melbourne - still got accepted

  • +1

Paste your regional address, happy to order $25 worth uber eats for you.

  • Code works in Hobart but no participating stores. :-(

  • +2

Code accepted in Alice springs and all the stores here are accepting the code

  • +2

Worked for me in Dubbo. Thanks OP

    • +1

Awesome to hear! I've added it to the list in the OP.

  • Works in regional Tasmania. Thanks!

  • +1

Ordered Chinese this afternoon here at Coffs Harbour & the promo code worked like a charm! Tested the code for KFC, Dominos, McD orders as well & they also got the $25 discount with no minimum spend required at checkout page. Finally a lil love for us non-city, country folk 😍

A big TQ to OP for taking the effort to post this deal (and don't let the negs get you down coz there are heaps of us appreciative ppl out there 🙏)

    • I’m staying in Coffs Harbour atm. Can you schedule 4 x $25 orders for pickup at the same time?

  • Can confirmed it works in Nowra. Thank you!

  • Seems to work in Lismore, NSW. Thanks OP!

  • Any love for QLD? tried a dozen regional areas west of Brisbane and couldnt find any shop that accepted
