Two handles (one for you and one for your partner)
Uses the regular Oral-B brushes (not the expensive iO ones).
Only difference between this and the top of the line Genius 9000 is the "Smart Travel Case". However it does include a regular travel case.

The original price of $529.99 is obviously ridiculous. Previously this was as low as $180 back in July.

Yeah so as a reminder “smart travel case” means charging case. So these have no charging case and are not international voltage. You can’t use them in the US or buy the US charger easily.

So annoying I wish the 9000 would go on sale. I’ve been waiting for years.

  And the 8500 comes with it's own charging case (same as 9000), so 2x 8500 = 2x 8000 handles + 2x 9000 charging cases = MUCH better deal (and $50 cheaper as well - for 2).
