Yeah, I'm with Scotty.. There wont be much price movement on the Galaxy Nexus.
The Nexus G (or whatever it will be called) looks a beast of a phone on paper (yet to be seen if LG can actually make a decent handset though, their track record so far has been poor) and will be priced slightly cheaper than the iPhone5.
LG hardware is OK
LG firmware is poor
LG customer support and updates are criminally badIf it were entirely supported by Google, with their updates, then it would be OK, but with the rumours of changes to the programme I'd be asking questions. If LG software people have to support it, at all, run away.
Why not get Motorola to do their Nexus series?
wasn't that the whole point of acquiring Motorola?
Vodafone locked Nexus S was discounted to $269 last November and the price actually came back up (as I was having trouble hunting for one earlier this year). As Galaxy Nexus is a lot better than Nexus S, I doubt there will be massive discount.
Not to mention that it's an LG.
I was hoping there will be more HTC or Asus Nexus devices…
