Depend on your situation and how you look at it. Eg, I have 1k GC, what's the difference between pay 799 and pay 899( get 100 back later). Unless you are never even going to buy anything from JB. It's same same. For JB, nobody should pay cash/card straight away nowadays. Even you can not get those 15% off GC, 10% is available every couple of weeks in the supermarkets.
