I have had issues trying to purchase online with the 28 Degrees card lately.
The problem occurred with three different online retailers, with both main and supplementary cards.
When the transaction is being authorised, Mastercard SecureId comes up for two factor, but the SMS from SecureId never arrives.
Latitude frontline support say there's nothing wrong on their side and have confirmed the phone number is ok. They suggested I talk to MC. MC has no people to talk to and their web page says talk to the card issuer.
Eventually I found someone at Latitiude confirming there is a known issue, but they can't tell me when it is likely to be be fixed or commit to telling me when it is fixed. Their suggestion: use PayPal.
ApplePay works fine for in person purchases, but every online attempt has failed recently.
How big is this issue? Have you experience the same?

Funnily enough, I had the same problem with Paypal. I always had to go through the didn't receive flow to get the SMS.
I had a similar issue in 2021 of so. Turns out it was the payment processor of the online retailer. Something about the security steps of both the Visa and Mastercard cards I tried not meshing with the processor. Took a lot of back and forth. MC and Visa support were excellent and showed the requests to pay were going through, but not getting taken up.
The retailer obviously really wanted to help but their hands were tied as all they had to rely on was what their 3rd party payment processor was saying. It eventually got sorted out a few months later.
I had this issue recently, I use A goggle Pixel 7, it was treating the SMS's as spam and I was not getting the notifications for Lattitude verification codes.
I had to go to the spam settings and unblock it. I am sure android did it automatically, I did not mark it as spam or block it.
I went into message app
Clicked on top right hand corner profile tab
Clicked on Spam and Blocked
and found the SMS's in there.Interesting. I'm on iOS but I had a look in Settings/Messages and there is a Blocked Contacts list with phone numbers I've probably manually flagged. I wonder….
All I can add is that no phone number appears, it comes up LATITUDE when I get a verification Text.
So maybe search for that.
I noticed this just recently also - android messages had put latitude texts into spam and there were a lot of them in there.
Tried to make a card purchase with 28Deg last night and code never came through despite asking to resend twice. Might check the spam settings as per above comment.
I never had a problem with SMS code with 28Degrees.
