Good deal for 42OLEDC3, looks like NSW only.
Have the C2 version, have been very happy with it for bedroom TV, haven't tried using it as monitor as too big for desk

Says 12 sold but no history available, probably wasn't enough to meet the minimum qty for posting.
It says "more than 10 available" for me, & I can select up to 5 units for my cart
NSW only, shows up for me. If I didn't stupidly jump the gun on the powerland deal and spent more and now need to wait for stock I'd be all over this!
Great deal!
What are everyone's thoughts on the below mounting arm:
It's about $40 cheaper than the Desky one recommended in the other posts.
I ordered the North Bayou G70 which is rated for up to 12kg. It arrives tomorrow however I still need to wait for the vesa adaptor to arrive first. Will report back once it all comes together.
Should be fine to use since it can handle 20kg — the 42" C3 is 12kg. Don't forget that you'll also need to buy a VESA adapter plate.
Yep thank you, this is the one im ordering:
VIVO Steel Vesa LCD Led Tv Mount Adapter Plate Bracket for Screens 32 to 55 Inches, Conversion Kit for Vesa Up to 400X200mm (Mount-Ad4X2) https://amzn.asia/d/1Tt31Qq
Nice, you're all set. Enjoy your C3! I've been using the 42" C2 since the start of this year, it's been fantastic, really good for PC gaming.
@deadpoet: Thanks really looking forward to it as a monitor. Been using an 83 c1 for the last 2 years as our main tv and it has been amazing. I think ill try the G70 at $65 and see how that goes :)
@giovannip: Got my vesa adaptor today, the G70 works no issues.
@mrderrickc: nice, I got my G70 but syill waiting for the VESA adaptor. What screws did you use to mount the tv?
@giovannip: The vesa kit I got came with all the screws and spacers required.
i say this in almost every thread
i got the c2 for 2 grand, love it
i smash it with work and games daily, zero burn in, never skipped a beat, so far its only done the pixel refresh three times this year
love it, sexy af for gaming. if you grab the c3 enjoy. you won't regret it!
especially if you are a wide-screen gamer ;)
Here, Here. Bought my C3 this week, and it's absolutely gorgeous. First OLED and now I know what I've been missing out on!
How's the image upscaling if you were to watch say youtube 1080p, "movie files" vs Bluray quality? Is there a huge difference in terms of lower end content looking really bad?
I find LG TVs aren't great at upscaling low res movies or SD free-to-air TV channels — they're no Sony, but YMMV. Having said that, if you're watching YouTube videos in Windows or macOS, it's usually your graphics card or OS doing the upscaling, not the TV, so it's basically a moot point.
@deadpoet: Yeah fair, I wonder if it'll be any better using Google TV 4k dongle for the lower end stuff then?
@Tbargain12: My apologies, I just looked at the RTINGS review of the C3 and it seems that the C3 has improved its upscaling capabilities when compared to the C2, it now scores 8 out of 10 (whereas the C2 scored 6.5). So it seems it should do a good job with low res content:
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c3-oled
@deadpoet: what if you using a google tv 4k to watch youtube at 1080p stream via wifi etc
how will it look on the 4k LG OLED?
@pinkybrain: It turns out I was wrong, the C3 has improved upscaling functionality (compared to the C2 and earlier models), so it should do a good job. See the RTINGS link above for details.
I'm not sure how good Google TV 4K is at upscaling, but if it is a budget device it probably won't be anything spectacular. You could try forcing it to output at 1080p and see how it looks on the C3 (this will let the C3 do the upscaling).
If you haven't had burn in, how come you've pixel refreshed 3 times? Banding maybe? Lines?
I've used my C1 since end of 2021, movies, youtube, gaming and haven't pixel refreshed once.
Just curious.
The TV does the refresh automatically after a set amount of hours.
Aha, fair fair
@Ethan Bargain-Hunt: my c2 is on for about 16 hours a day, i use to turn it off the second i left the home office but a screen saver pops up (after it auto dims for a duration) no real need (tbh imo) the tv is solid af
back in stock?
What this was $1300 last week at this rate I estimate I’ll be able to buy this for $300 in under 10 weeks
I’m making the assumption price moves linearly with time
OOS
Plus GCX cards. Too bad it went out of stock already, would have been a nice cherry to stack with shop back tmr
Need some ozbargainers opinions.
Get the LG OLED C3 77 inch for $3839 or hold out for a better price?
where did you get that price for the 77
Originally from the LG online store. They ran a Spin and Win promotion and I snagged a 20% off voucher which I was able to use on their website sale price of $4799. After some calling around I found a JB Hi-Fi that is willing to match it.
Says 1348 for me?
Use code HGTNOV
Still in stock
This or the TCL 55" C845 for a 2.5m x 2.5m brightly lit (1 wall is windows) room? For PC gaming / HD movies.
For a bright room I went with the c845, peak brightness of the Min-LED is much higher than for OLED. Also worth looking at the 50".
I haven't seen in person but there are trade-offs with the 50" https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14523383/redir
Great for Monitor.
Got the C2 for $950, absolutely love it!
Waiting for C3 to drop to under $1k.
In NSW, won't post to me and no C&C option.
Great deal, whoever snagged one was lucky, still using my 55" C9 years later as a monitor. Total Power on time: 17,485 hours. Still as magnificent as the day I got it.
When it's time to get another one, will 100% be another LG oled.
55" monitor?
how far do you sit?
got any pics of your setup?
3 feet, the thing is you don't have to use full screen, the pure black of oled allows floating windows/games to be any size you want and still look like a monitor.
Far out, sold out before a single comment lol. Bummer.
