15% off all tyres at Tyroola.

I find Tyroola to be fairly well priced anyway, 4 Pirelli PZero Nero XLs for my car are within $50 of what I expect the price to be at MyCar with 50% off.

Don't forget that fitting costs extra. You can sort the fitting options by 'price ascending' when booking it in as it defaults to a mobile service which is quite expensive. Fitting 4 tyres at the cheapest fitter in my area is $108.

  • I purchased tyres yesterday and Tyroola were not in contention as their price was well over the price I paid. 15% off a higher price may still be too much.

MyCar were much higher again in price.

It's definitely tyre-specific. I find for some tyres/brands tryoola are cheap, for some not so much.

  • $246 more for the 4 Pirelli's i'm looking at compared to mycar deal tomorrow

    • I'm wondering how fast that deal is going to be gone. Do you know how fast the stock disappeared last time they had this deal at all?

      • It's going to be a shitshow tomorrow no doubt

  • can this promo code work if the tyres are already discounted for a set of 4?

    • +1

Doesn't appear so. Pirelli already have $x off per set of 4. Adding this deal removes the $x off.

    • nope, that gets removed and the 15% discount applied instead which makes it more expensive.
I'm seeing no deal here, 25% should be the black friday discount not 15% (smh).

MyCar has fitting included I reckon

Pirelli PowerGy for eg at Tyroola including $104 fitting and $95 alignment for 4 tyres is $579 vs mycar @370

    • Yes it does

    • They also have warranty and other freebies included, so even if its a similar price I'd rather go MyCar.

  • inb4 nothing available <$200 for 225/55r18

Wow, this actually works out to be the cheapest this year for what I need (only need the two back tyres)..! Who would have thunk it..

    • +1

It's definitely tyre-specific. Tyroola seem to getbetter prices on some brands than others. I have always found them pretty well priced for Kumho tyres for my runabout.

  • Be aware that Tyroola have started an aggressive contact program whereby, if you don't buy the tyres that you have put in your cart, they will hassle you beyond the legal limit to get you to buy the tyres.
A couple of weeks ago, I was investigating tyre prices on Tyroola and didn't end up buying any. That afternoon, I received 5 phone calls in a 10 minute period from an unknown mobile number. I ignored the 1st 4, as I usually do, but answered the 5th thinking it must have been an emergency - I just hired a new Vet and didn't have her number in my phone yet. Low and behold, it was Tyroola enquiring as to why I hadn't purchased the tyres. I was annoyed, but just got rid of them.
Since then I have made further enquiries and received multiple other calls and texts from them regarding buying tyres. I am about to report them to Consumer Affairs for their behaviour as it is harassment.
I have bought tyres from them in the past and always used them for comparison, but will only use them incognito from now on.

  • Cant find the option to apply the discount code. Any help?

    • +2

      On the Cart page:

"Do you have a discount/promo code, voucher code, or gift card?Click here"

  • Found them to mostly have out of stock, low stock, or overpriced tyres compared to places IRL.

Sometimes you can find a bargain though. Other times a very specific tyre is popular and cheap and sold in bulk in large numbers, with free delivery to your chosen location. It's a real luck of the draw website.

15% off is no real deal either, considering they're always offering 15% off every other week.
