Was looking for wireless headphones with 3.5mm jack for plane flight and found these on decent discount.
Lowest ever on camelcamelcamel.
Not sure on expiry but Amazon deals run until the 3rd of December?

Thanks for the heads up, Jetstar flights don't have bluetooth, only 3.5mm, can you recommend any headphones that support ANC in AUX mode? Much appreciated!
The Soundcore Q45s do (about to use for an international flight in a couple of hours :) )
Generally speaking, this pair is great on BT but completely useless on AUX (as it is not powered on AUX so even if you can ignore the ANC, you wouldn't want to listen to anything on AUX).
I read that it used to support AUX on power but somehow they have disabled/removed that feature.
I found that out the hard way on way to London. Otherwise decent for the price. I tend to bring own tablet with own media now anyway.
Yes, so did I. Learned it the hard way.
Apparently, the no ANC in AUX mode is a defect. Can contact Anker for replacement if it happens to you.
I think they did classify it as a detect when they first heard that issue from customors but but that is no longer the case as the cause came from the bluetooth chip change where the chip, "by design" turns power off on AUX. It even says on their manual now that "Plugging in an audio cable will automatically switch to AUX mode, and Bluetooth mode and ANC will turn off."
I have done extensive research on this topic after I saw ANC and power being turned off whenever we plug in audio cable.
They changed it from a defect to a limitation of the bluetooth chip because the manufacturer of the chip turned off the ability to use ANC with AUX. If you can figure out a way of getting the old firmware and flashing the Q30 with it, you can get ANC back on AUX.
It auto updated my Q30 just before my international flight last year :(
@dodgey: The reason given was "To make sure the stable Bluetooth connection, the original chip manufacturer close the ANC feature in the wired mode."
Which, to me, is probably the most ridiculous reason since when you're in wired mode, that's when you don't need a BT connection.
@dodgey: You’re entitled to a replacement then. I expect Anker would help out there but if they don’t Australian Consumer Law protects you indefinitely.
Good for gym?
Sure, you don't mind sweaty ears being headphones with leather earcups, for the price they'd be great with the included specs.
Anker getting rid of old model?
Should I get this or the Anker Soundcore Space Q45?
Be careful if you plan on using it on the plane as it doesn't seem to support ANC in AUX mode. i.e. If you want ANC while connecting to the plane's entertainment system then it probably wouldn't work.
