Current gen $59 for those wondering

    • Any free upgrade?

      • +1

No, only the Digital Deluxe edition has a free upgrade. There's not even a purchasable upgrade.

        • +7

Man I hope they don't make a habit of doing that. Really trash

Good to note the upgrade isn't free, but that's not exactly what a TLDR is. Maybe more of a PSA or an FYI.

  • Is this a good game if you're not really into Harry Potter?

    • +1

If you're into fantasy, I'd say so. However it can get repetitive so a lot of its charm is if you're into the HP lore.

It's got a decent story but you do spend a lot of time 'grinding' building up XP, skills. Seeing char 1,3,5,7,9 in that order sort of thing. Much more fun if you're into HP otherwise I'd say the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is the better RPG.

It's probably better than Ass Creed Valhalla. As far as Ubisoft large map games go it's good. Especially if you like collecting and doing the same things over and over. You could rush through the story too and think of it as a shorter story game instead of a long collectathon.

    • Nope.

But amazing if you are into.

Hands up if you tried to find hagrid's hut the first thing.

It's not even a good game if you are into Harry Potter. The combat is awful.

  • xbox version upgradable to series x?

  • Hopefully there’s a deal on switch version soon

    • Switch version just released earlier this month so prob not till 2024 ;(

Starfield is not even on Playstation, wtf are you talking about

  • Any good? Hope Amazon match as more chance it be sealed not displayed item.

    • At Target the only thing on the shelf is the case. They keep the discs out the back. Just like they do at JB, EB Games and Big W.

But also from Amazon, there's more chance of the case getting damaged, during shipping. That's one downside. However i've yet to have one being damaged through Amazon, but it's a possibility. At least over the shelf you can check the case for any damage before purchase.

      • I don’t get why places places open most there stock and put the cases on display, can’t they just use one copy or case on display and keep rest out back or under counter sealed.
Got a game today could have got from Amazon and most likely would be sealed but got it on eBay from a retailer with two options collect at store or have delivered.
Went to pick up my order sticker’s all over the case lol looked like a used copy which I know it ain’t but asked to call around for a sealed copy.
Went to other store to swap it over.

As for this game I got a price match with jb and as I got the gift cards for 15% off so sort of made it $50.
And bonus was sealed it just annoys me getting these things opened.

But you are right risk involved with amazon and damage but I have had a time of blu rays etc sent with them and very few have been damaged and if was it was replaced.

        • I recently was at the local EB Games about to buy Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 from a display case. But the sales person went out the back and came out with one still sealed. I didn't turn that one back. Got it for $28 brand new, funny how the game was around $100 when it first was released. It could have been just excess stock that they hadn't got around to unsealing yet. But you're right most console games are unsealed if you buy over the counter at retail. Like you i'd prefer it sealed.

Any way i got a price match for the Hogwarts Legacy PS4 version at JB today for $39 on C&C. Was about to leave the store and found the case had a large piece of it broken off. No good since i'm a game collector. Took it straight back and they swapped the case straight away. Couldn't do that if i bought it from Amazon. It would be like a week and a half event since for me it's interstate shipping from Amazon.
